Holly Tompkins Tuller visited our club meeting on Thursday June 26th, 2008 and talked to us about her home country “New Zealand” and her experience in travel and holidays in New Zealand.

Holly said: “I was lucky enough to be invited along to speak to the Rotary Club of Westminster East last week, at their end of year handover meeting no less! I was so impressed by the club’s hospitality and welcoming nature and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, made even nicer by the lovely venue, excellent food and great conviviality of the members.

I am from New Zealand and was visiting the UK speaking to various travel operators and consumer groups regarding a project which I am currently involved in. I am responsible for the marketing and product development of a very special place called Campbell Park Estate in the south island of New Zealand and researching the feasibility of running special interest holiday programmes from the estate, for both Kiwis and international travellers who are over 50. The Westminster East Rotary club kindly agreed to hear about the concepts for these programmes and offer their feedback in terms of the appeal and practicality.
